• Key difference: Sulawesi shrimp are the opposite of Caridina, they need warm, hard, alkaline water and a heater is essential. They are slow to acclimate and sensitive to change, so a mature, stable, dedicated tank is required.

Sulawesi shrimp are best suited to experienced keepers who can hold steady high-temperature, alkaline conditions. They are peaceful and plant-safe but should not be mixed with Neocaridina or Caridina due to opposite water requirements.
