Freeze dried krill, dried brine shrimp, and dried red shrimp -- premium protein and natural colour enhancers. All three crustacean-derived ingredients contribute astaxanthin, the carotenoid pigment responsible for the vivid reds and oranges in fish colouration. Consistent feeding with astaxanthin-rich food produces measurably richer colour expression over time in species capable of expressing those pigments -- including many of the nano fish, tetras, and rainbowfish in our catalog.
