Fire Red Cherry Shrimp are bred for a consistent bright and opaque red coloration that fully covers the body. Unlike lower red grades that may show translucency or mottling Fire Reds typically display even saturation along the carapace legs and tail. In strong lighting their red tone can appear vivid and glossy especially against dark aquascape layouts.
Males may show slightly less color density due to naturally slimmer bodies while females commonly display richer coverage and a broader look. Juveniles begin lighter and gradually deepen through successive molts as long as nutrition and water stability remain strong. This line is considered a reliable red morph with a good track record of holding color across generations.
Fire Red Cherry Shrimp thrive in planted community style aquariums with stable parameters and gentle flow. They graze continuously on biofilm algae and micro foods contributing to a healthy and balanced tank environment.
