The Superior Shrimp & Aquatics Drip Acclimation Set helps you gradually introduce aquarium water to newly arrived aquatic animals. The adjustable tee valve lets you control the drip, while the clamp and U-bracket help position the tubing during use.

Using Your Set

The following setup steps are adapted from the included package instructions.

1. Place the livestock and bag water into a clean container below the destination aquarium. Leave enough room for the added water.
2. Gently secure the screw clamp to the container. Rest the U-bracket over the aquarium rim; it does not need to snap onto the rim. Place the bell prefilter into the aquarium.
3. Open the tee valve and use the included syringe at the tubing outlet to start the water flow. Adjust the valve to slow the flow to a drip.
4. For Neocaridina and Caridina shrimp, the label specifies up to 2–3 drips per second until the lower container holds 3–4 times the original bag-water volume. Monitor the container throughout use.
5. Close the valve to stop the flow, then remove the clamp and bracket. Use a suitable net over a clean bucket to separate the livestock from the acclimation water, then transfer the livestock into the aquarium.

After Use

Hang the kit vertically and loosen the tee valve so the water can drain and the tubing can dry.
