Los Sunkist de 24k son lo máximo en cuanto a calidad. Estas hermosas criaturas tienen caparazones gruesos y son de calidad "pintada", es decir, de grado SSS. Los Sunkist de 24k son una variación encantadora dentro del género Neocaridina. Estos vibrantes crustáceos añaden una explosión de color a los acuarios de agua dulce, con tamaños que van desde un cuarto hasta tres cuartos de pulgada. Conocidos por su estabilidad, producen crías de manera confiable con el mismo tono naranja llamativo. Los Sunkist exhiben una coloración naranja vibrante con ligeras variaciones que van desde tonos amarillo anaranjado hasta rojo anaranjado. Sus requisitos de fácil cuidado y su adaptabilidad los convierten en una opción ideal tanto para acuaristas novatos como experimentados. For the price range of ten shrimp...

For the price range of ten shrimp. The ratio of males to females was 2 to 1 and before I had realized the males stressed out 3 of the females leading to death. As well as one of the survivors being a very old one eyed shrimp of red hue not orange.

A few notes for anyone reading.

On the male to female ratio: standard packs are sold unsexed, which means the ratio of males to females is random. If a specific M/F ratio is important, the Breeder Pack option is what we offer for sexed selections (2 males / 8 females standard). The listing for the standard pack notes that it's a random scoop.

On the S Grade designation: S Grade is our premium quality tier, which means the shrimp are selected for stronger color saturation and pattern. These are typically more mature adult shrimp because color in Sunkist (and Neocaridina varieties generally) develops more fully with age. Adult is not the same as old, healthy adult shrimp can live another 1 to 2 years and continue breeding.

On the color: Sunkist shrimp naturally show variation across the orange-to-red spectrum within a single grade. Both warmer red-orange and lighter orange tones are within standard for the species. Color also shifts post-transit, with washed-out or different-toned coloration as shipping stress, and returns to normal over several days to weeks in a stable tank.

On the one-eyed shrimp: eye damage can occur from transit stress, molting issues, or pre-existing condition. Shrimp can and do live full lives with one eye and continue to breed, eat, and behave normally. It is not a sign of an aged or unhealthy animal.

Beautiful Shrimp

These are a high quality and really beautiful shrimps. They really stand out on a dark substrate and on plants. The shrimp were packaged well and included a heat pack. Unfortunately shipping was hard on the shrimp and several arrived dead, but the seller made good on the DOA's. I will happily buy from this seller again.

High Mortality Rate

My order was was for 10 and only 5 were alive in the package. I'm currently awaiting a response from the owner after providing the necessary photos regarding the doa policy.

Hi Robert, as we talked in previous email communications, there was a delay by UPS. This is out of our control. There are various things happening with UPS right now that are causing unforseable delays. For instance, there is a complete hub shutdown due to a UPS plane crashing. I will get to your email as you messaged me the previous night after hours.
