They arrived healthy, significantly more than I’d ordered, looks like a bunch of young got scooped in, thank you! After a few days to color up they are so striking — absolutely the best neocaridina color variation I’ve seen.

They are not as colorful as the picture but still cool, only thing that made me sad was i see some blue babies and a blueish adult in the mix. Came with 10+ babies though

A few notes for anyone reading.

We never received any contact about this. Color concerns are addressed through our Live Arrival Guarantee by emailing support@superiorshrimpaquatics.com with photos.

On the color difference: the shrimp pictured on our product listings are mature adults photographed under optimal aquarium lighting. Two factors significantly affect what you see versus what arrives:

1. Maturity. The shrimp we ship are juveniles and sub-adults. Color saturation develops as they mature. Adult shrimp have significantly deeper, more saturated color than younger animals.

2. Lighting. Aquarium lighting plays a major role in how shrimp colors appear, especially with varieties like Green Venom, Cantaloupe, Red Onyx, and other high-grade morphs that depend on a full color spectrum to display their characteristic coloration. Product photos are taken under high-CRI aquarium lighting designed to bring out true color. Tank lighting at home varies widely in color temperature, spectrum, and intensity. A warm yellow light will mute greens; a cooler white or full-spectrum light will let those colors come through more vividly. Cantaloupe orange and Red Onyx red can also look dramatically different under different light sources.

Mature them in a planted tank with quality full-spectrum lighting and stable parameters. They'll look much closer to the listing photos over time.
